In this section, we will explain how to add a payment method.

Add a new payment method

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Navigate to Billing Dashboard (Menu -> Account settings (three vertical points at the very bottom of the page) -> Billing)
  2. Find the “Payment Method” section and click the “Manage” button
  3. Click the “Add new payment method” button
  4. Type in your Credit Card details
    • IMPORTANT: Please, make sure the Credit Card is valid and has enough balance for the payment.
  5. Fill in the “Billing Address” form
  6. Select the sum to refill the account balance
  7. If necessary, you can enable the account balance auto-recharge feature in the “Current Balance” section
  8. Click the “Create” button

To verify that your card is valid, after you submit your card information, SmartSender.io will place a USD 1.00 pre-authorization hold on your bank card and will cancel the pre-authorization hold soon after you pass the verification.

Primary credit card

If you have several cards, select the primary card, which should be charged, by designating it using the "Make primary" button.

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Navigate to Billing Dashboard (Menu -> Account settings (three vertical points at the very bottom of the page) -> Billing)
  2. Find the “Payment Method” section and click the “Manage” button
  3. Click the “Make primary” button on the preferred Credit Card
Remove your payment method

If you need to remove cards, you can do it using the “Remove card” icon.

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Navigate to Billing Dashboard (Menu -> Account settings (three vertical points at the very bottom of the page) -> Billing)
  2. Find the “Payment Method” section and click the “Manage” button
  3. Click the “Remove card” icon on the preferred Credit Card
  4. Сonfirm your action.
What happens when Account Balance runs low?

When your Account Balance runs low, one of two things will happen, depending on your account settings:

  1. Your account will be auto-recharged according to auto-recharge settings.
  2. The account balance will go negative and messages sending will be rejected.

So, we recommend using auto-recharge. Тhis will ensure the continuous operation of your campaigns without any delays.
