303 views April 16, 2019 0

In this article, you’ll learn about blacklist and how they affect the work you do in SmartSender.

A Blacklist is a list of phone numbers blocked by SmartSender to protect your account from continuous sending messages to invalid contacts. When you want to send a new SMS campaign, SmartSender will automatically exclude “Blacklisted” contacts.

How to add a number to the Blacklist:

  1. Navigate to Phone Blacklist page (Menu -> Settings -> Phone Blacklist)
  2. Click the “Add to suppression list” button
  3. Copy/Paste phone numbers manually (separated by a new line) and click “Import”

Import phone numbers to Blacklist:

  1. 1. Navigate to Phone Blacklist page (Menu -> Settings -> Phone Blacklist)
  2. Click the “Add to suppression list” button
  3. Browse your import file
    • IMPORTANT: The file should be in CSV format with comma separated data. Download a sample file here.
  4. Click “Import” button

To remove a phone number from Blacklist:

  1. Navigate to Phone Blacklist page (Menu -> Settings -> Phone Blacklist)
  2. Find the phone number using the search form
  3. Select the contacts you want to remove from the Blacklist and click “Remove selected” button
