Email Blacklist – is a special type of subscriber list. There is only one per account, and it contains email addresses you don’t want to send to, to help protect your sending reputation. Email addresses on the suppression list can’t be accidentally imported or added to your regular subscriber lists.
For example, Email Blacklist is a list of suppressed e-mail addresses used by e-mail senders to comply with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. CAN-SPAM requires that senders of commercial emails provide a functioning opt-out mechanism by which email recipients can unsubscribe their email address from future email messages. The unsubscribed email addresses are placed into a “Email Blacklist” which is used to “suppress” future email messages to that email address. Email addresses in suppression lists will NOT to be included while emailing; those people have chosen not to receive emails for that product.
Below, we’ll explain how email addresses are automatically added to the Email Blacklist, and how you can suppress email addresses yourself. This comes in handy if you’ve previously maintained a “do not email” list in an external tool, or switched to us from another email service provider.

Is a raw information that we receive from target ESP. Usually you can see the reason, why ESP hard bounced your contact |
There are multiple bounce types that you could see in the report for a sent email. All of the bounce messages we receive are sorted into soft bounce categories or, if it’s a permanent delivery failure, it’s classified as a hard bounce. Hard bounced email addresses are automatically placed in the account Email Blacklist.
