Web Push Log

You can sift through the Web Push Notification logs and evaluate message delivery and user reaction using SmartSender’s Web Push Log.

These reports will help you track the delivery status of notifications, see the content of the message, as well as resend it in case of need.

To download the Detailed Log:

  1. Navigate to the “Web Push Log” page in “Analytics” section (Menu -> Analytics -> Web Push Log)
  2. Filter necessary data by Tags, Domains, Date range
  3. Click “Create Export Task (.xls)” Button.

Report filters

Filter Description
Tags You tag messages using different features in SmartSender platform (for example: templates, auditory segments, etc.) to get hourly/daily/monthly aggregated reports for all messages with such tag.
Domains Domain name is linked to one or more Contact Lists and mainly used in “From” email address of your messages. If you have several domains in one account, you can filter the report for only one specific domain.
Date period Select specific period of time to generate the Report only with data from those dates.

Status Here you can see whether the notification was sent, delivered or rejected.
Date The date and time, when the notification was delivered
To The userId, to which the notification was sent to
Content It is the template content, sent to the recipient. By clicking “Show Content” button, you will be able to view the template.
Tags You can add custom tags to your messages to ease stats collections (mark templates, campaigns, etc). A single tag – must not start with an underscore.

The type of event

Status Description
delivered The Push notification was delivered
undelivered The Push notification wasn’t delivered, invalid token
expired The Push notification wasn’t shown due to TTL (Time to live)
